As you may or may not know I have a slight fetish for shoes. My taste has varied throughout the years but one thing has remained constant…. The need to clean them. I was that dude who had the toothbrush and tried to concoct all manor of soaps.
Recently I stumbled upon this shoe cleaning kit from Jason Markk. Lets be honest I only took any notice because of the awesome packaging. The way the branding has been done is dope in my opinion. So this caught my attention and I decided to do some research and was actually very impressed with the results some people were posting. I was more so impressed by how it cleans suede. Since I’ve accumulated some dope suede kicks over the years this got me.
But as with most things I didn’t think I’d be able to get it in lil ol Leicester. BUT HOW WRONG WAS I!! The good folks over at Wellgosh stocked it! I ran into town and picked it up asap!
Now I thought ok lets really put this through its paces.. So I got out my everyday ratchet ass Vans. These have been with me for a LONG damn time.
And so I followed the instructions (check the video HERE) and seriously… what the hell.. The results were AMAZING!
Ok yes they’re not like WOAH they brand new but these kicks are beat to shit and they look dope still! they’re a lil wet still in the picture but I am DEFO going to be cleaning up my suedes with this product. I would 100% recommend it. Definitely make sure you watch the official tutorial though because I wasn’t using enough of it at first.
Peace out sneaker heads!

When Lions Roar Festival 2013
I’ve had the true honour and privilege of meeting the ever inspiring Raj Ghuman. It’s even more of an honour that we are related. Auntieji let me into her house with open arms and a huge smile. I would always see her smiling and not once was she in a bad mood. We had some funny conversations which always ended in laughter. I am so happy that The Glass Museum has produced this short documentary film about her. Well done guys!
Singer and Media Personality Raj Ghuman prepares to release her next studio album “Dilaasa”. Reflecting on the landscape of the Punjabi music industry, Raj Ghuman refuses to compromise herself for an industry that rips people apart. Mann Di Hooq is the “voice of her heart” that wants to sing about art versus entertainment, objectification of women, and the sorrow for a loss of a fading folk culture.
